SEGUIN, Texas - Texas Lutheran women's golfer Angela Aufderhaar has been named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District VI First Team for the college division Women's At-Large program.
Aufderhaar is now a candidate for Academic All-America honors in the college division. The Academic All-America Teams for the Women's At-Large program will be announced June 10.
The Women's At-Large program includes student-athlete nominations from the sports of golf, crew, fencing, field hockey, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming, tennis, and water polo.
Aufderhaar is a Seguin native and a product of Seguin High School. She is the daughter of Eric and Lynette Aufderhaar of Seguin.

Aufderhaar lettered all four years in women's golf and led TLU to the 2007 ASC Championship (the first and only ASC women's golf title in school history). Aufderhaar and the Bulldogs played in the 2007 NCAA Division III Championships and finished 19th. Aufderhaar was the team's top finisher (tied for 68th) at the 2007 national tournament.
In her senior season, Aufderhaar won two tournaments and posted individual finishes of second, third, and fourth in three other tournaments. In 2008, Aufderhaar was named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-West Region Team for NCAA Division III.
