SEGUIN, Texas – Texas Lutheran sophomore forward Isaac Williams (San Antonio/Wagner) scored a career-high 31 points in leading the Bulldogs to a 75-59 victory over Sul Ross State on Thursday.

The Bulldogs opened the lead to double digits in the second half behind a defense that held the Lobos to 29.6 percent shooting over the final 20 minutes.

TLU shot 55.2 percent in the first half and 57.7 percent in the second half. In the second half alone, Williams made seven of his nine shots and grabbed seven of his eight rebounds.
