The Bulldogs (5-14, 3-12 ASC West) have slim hopes for an ASC Championship Tournament berth. TLU trails fourth-place Sul Ross (8-11, 7-8 ASC West) by four games with six games to play. The top four teams in the ASC West advance to the conference tournament.
TLU sits in a tie for seventh place in the ASC West. The Bulldogs also trail Howard Payne (4-15, 4-11 ASC West) and Hardin-Simmons (4-15, 4-11 ASC West) in the division standings.
Sul Ross can grab a more secure of fourth place in the division with a win tonight over TLU. The Lobos defeated the Bulldogs last Thursday in Alpine, Texas by a score of 81-71.
Henry Flores had 25 points and eight rebounds for TLU in the loss. Flores is averaging 18.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game since joining the Bulldogs for the second-half of the season.
