SEGUIN, Texas – Texas Lutheran University will hold a 2 p.m. press conference Monday in San Antonio to introduce Danny Padron as the new head football coach of the Bulldogs.
Padron, 57, recently completed his eighth season as the head football coach and athletic coordinator at San Antonio’s O’Connor High School.
Padron was 65-30 overall as the head coach at O’Connor. He was the 2003 San Antonio Express-News “San Antonio Area Coach of the Year.”
Monday’s press conference will be held at Pearl Studio at the Historic Pearl Brewery in San Antonio. The Pearl Studio is located at 115 E. Grayson St.
TLU President Ann M. Svennungsen and TLU Director of Athletics Bill Miller will be in attendance with Padron on Monday to make the formal announcement.
